FW 2500

As an established 2.5 MW wind turbine, the FW 2500 has already been erected several hundred times worldwide. With hub heights of 85 to 160 m and rotors of 90 to 104 m it can be optimally adapted to nearly all site conditions and wind zones. In addition to steel towers, the turbine can also be mounted on lattice towers or lattice/tube hybrid towers (K-Tower). At the same time, the compact drive train has an innovative and compact design without a main shaft, which allows a low weight of the nacelle.
